The Daily Express recently interviewed the king of caravans who spends 70 days of the year on the road.
Doug King would most certainly need touring caravan insurance considering that he has journeyed thousands of miles around the UK, and "covered much of Europe" on his travels.
Although he didn't enjoy his first caravan holiday, when he had his children he wanted a cheaper holiday and decided to have another go and has never looked back, the paper reported.
Commenting on his passion for caravanning, Mr King said: "Nothing beats travelling wherever you want to go, whenever you want to go, or indeed cooking yourself a bacon sandwich in the morning and eating it in front of your caravan.
"That, to me, is the best feeling in the world."
Mr King said that caravan parks "are the busiest I’ve seen them for 36 years" and the Daily Express noted the increasingly popularity of caravan holidays.
They reported that it has been predicted that more people will invest in caravans this year.
